230 TIG/Stick Welder - Dual Voltage Welding Machine

The new Typhoon 230 sets a new class standard with a 70% duty cycle at maximum output. It features a large 7" HD LCD screen with crystal-clear resolution and brightness. The innovative functions include Amplitude control in AC and split positive and negative waveform control, which result in remarkable advancements in tungsten life, arc quality, and stability compared to older waveform technology. The Typhoon offers five AC waveforms - Advanced Square, Soft Square, Triangular, Sine, and Trapezoidal - specifically designed for optimal puddle and bead control while welding Aluminum.

With the option to expand memory up to 30 programs and lock down settings to prevent tampering, the Typhoon ensures quality control levels for multiple users or in accordance with a WPS. In addition, the unit features DC pulse waveform shaping and a new solid state HV/HF starting for TIG, solidifying its position as a top-tier TIG welder for all metals.

As a high-performance stick welder, the Typhoon includes AC and DC stick output with adjustable AC balance and Frequency, excellent 6010 performance, arc force control (dig), and hot start adjustment for smooth E7018 welding. The unit offers up to 200Amp Stick output at a 70% duty cycle, making it ideal for various welding applications.

Furthermore, the Typhoon incorporates advanced features such as High Power Factor Correction (PFC) for improved performance on generator power sources and reduced power consumption. Its dual 120/240V operation enhances versatility on job sites with varying power availability. The unit also features fan and cooler control technology to optimize energy efficiency by running fans and water cooler only when necessary.

Included with the Typhoon are NOVA Rigid-Neck 9 series Air-Cooled TIG Torch 12.5FT, NOVA Rota-Flex 20 series Water-Cooled TIG Torch 12.5FT, NOVA Foot Pedal TIG 7 Pin, and Advanced Digital IGBT Inverter Technology.
