About Everlast: The name Everlast is synonymous with boxing and is globally renowned as a top manufacturer of boxing gear. Originally starting as a swimwear manufacturer in 1910, Everlast was founded by Jacob Golomb in the Bronx, NY. Golomb, the son of a tailor, was an enthusiastic swimmer who was frustrated with the short lifespan of swimsuits at the time. He began making suits that he promised would last a full year, giving them the name Everlast. Although his swimsuits didn't withstand the test of time, the name did. Golomb expanded the company into a retail store that sold sports equipment, and in 1917, boxer Jack Dempsey introduced him to the world of boxing and requested durable training gear. Golomb designed gloves for Dempsey, who went on to win the world heavyweight championship in 1919, solidifying Everlast as a leading provider of boxing equipment. Over the years, Golomb introduced elastic-waist trunks, now known as boxer trunks, which became a sensation in the boxing world.

After Golomb passed away in the 1950s, his son Dan took over the company. Ben Nadorf joined Everlast in 1958 and eventually became the president and main shareholder. The brand's success continued to soar, with its apparel, accessories, and boxing equipment remaining popular choices both in and out of the ring. Everlast has been a dominant force in the boxing industry for over 90 years and shows no signs of slowing down.
